The Short Version

The product was exceptional. The market simply couldn’t see it yet.

One Yoga Global did not have a product problem. It had a visibility problem.

Founder Laura Forsyth had already created something unusually good: deeply researched destinations, firsthand local relationships, thoughtful itineraries, responsible tourism partnerships and a business model that removed an enormous amount of work from retreat leaders.

But the market could not yet see what made the company exceptional.

In 2016, Laura engaged Coconut Creative Agency to establish a social media presence and send approximately two emails per month. Ashley looked beyond the original assignment, recognized the larger growth opportunity and began building the market perception around the value already inside the business.

What began as a straightforward social media engagement evolved into a nearly decade-long growth partnership. Together, Coconut Creative and One Yoga Global built the positioning, credibility, visibility and demand infrastructure that supported the company’s expansion from a handful of retreats into an established international wellness travel brand.

The Opportunity

The value was already there. The job was to make it impossible to miss.

Laura had already built the ingredients of an extraordinary brand:

  1. Immersive itineraries designed through firsthand destination research
  2. Trusted relationships with accommodations, guides, excursion providers, wildlife conservancies and local partners
  3. Experiences intentionally created away from heavily touristed routes while still revealing the best of each country
  4. A commitment to supporting local people, culture, land and wildlife
  5. A high-touch operating model that handled the heavy planning and administrative work for retreat leaders

The opportunity was not to manufacture a better story. It was to identify the story that was already true, sharpen the distinction and make the market understand why it mattered.

What Ashley Saw

One brand. Three audiences. One interconnected demand engine.

One Yoga Global needed to become desirable and trustworthy to two different customers at the same time—and eventually to a third audience whose belief could accelerate growth.

1

The Wellness Traveler

These people will take me somewhere extraordinary, care for me along the way and give me an experience I could not easily create for myself.

The marketing needed to speak to people seeking more than a vacation: wellness, rest, restoration, meaningful connection and a quieter, more thoughtful way to experience the world.

2

The Retreat Leader

I can put my reputation, my community and my livelihood in One Yoga Global’s hands.

Ashley recognized that One Yoga Global was not simply selling destinations to teachers. It was removing the operational burden that often prevents talented yoga and wellness professionals from leading international retreats. Laura had already researched the country, built the local partnerships, shaped the itinerary, coordinated the accommodations and experiences and contributed to marketing the retreat. The leader could arrive and focus on what they did best: lead.

3

The Strategic Partner

A credible organization to collaborate with—and attach a reputation to.

As the brand matured, respected wellness companies also needed to see One Yoga Global as a credible organization they would be proud to collaborate with and attach their own reputation to.

A strong, consistent online presence became more than marketing. It became proof—helping open the door to giveaways, collaborations and access to complementary audiences at scale.

The Strategy

From isolated marketing tactics to a connected growth ecosystem.

Turn Hidden Strengths Into a Differentiated Market Position

The first priority was to make One Yoga Global’s true competitive advantages impossible to miss: original itineraries, responsible tourism, trusted in-country relationships, deep operational support for retreat leaders and a level of care that cheaply assembled retreat experiences could not replicate.

Build Credibility, Not Just Content

Every touchpoint had to strengthen trust. Copy, imagery, email, social content, traveler stories, retreat-leader visibility and five-star reviews were used together to show the care behind the experience and position the company as a credible choice for both travelers and professional partners.

Expand Discovery Beyond Social Media

Ashley identified opportunities in search, Google reviews and YouTube so the brand could be discovered by people beyond its existing social audience. The move into YouTube created a new discovery engine, brought record numbers of viewers to the website and extended the life and reach of the company’s travel content.

Create Destination-Specific Growth Paths

As the business expanded, Laura trusted Ashley to help grow separate destination brands focused on Iceland and Switzerland. These dedicated presences supported retreat-leader growth and helped fill retreats in those countries.

Set Up Systems That Turn Attention Into Demand

Coconut Creative built repeatable systems behind the visibility: consistent content and email rhythms, audience capture, subscriber growth, destination-interest segmentation, review generation, cross-channel discovery and partnership outreach.

These systems meant the brand was not relying on isolated campaigns or rented social reach. Attention could be captured, organized and carried forward—creating an owned audience and clearer signals about where travelers wanted to go next.

Keep a Finger on the Pulse of Wellness Travel

Ashley continuously monitored the direction of wellness tourism—not merely social media trends—and translated relevant shifts into positioning, copy, visual storytelling, channel strategy and partnership ideas for One Yoga Global.

Rather than treating social media, email, search, YouTube, reviews and collaborations as separate activities, she looked across the entire growth ecosystem for ways to increase visibility, strengthen credibility and connect the brand with the people whose belief mattered.

The Big Takeaway

Exceptional businesses do not always need a better product. Sometimes they need the right person to reveal its value.

This is not a story about posting more content.

It is a story about recognizing the latent value already sitting inside an exceptional business, understanding why the market was not fully recognizing it and building the positioning, proof, visibility, relationships and systems that made that value easier to see—and easier to choose.

The product was already exceptional. Ashley helped make its value visible.
