A note from co-creator, Ashley Steinmetz

In 2013 I traveled to a tiny island located 50 miles off the east coast of Nicaragua.

A new boutique hotel needed my help attracting bookings from yoga retreat leaders.

Reaching the island took multiple plane rides, an overnight stay in Managua, a taxi, and finished with a boat ride across the Caribbean. It would take clever positioning to convince yoga groups to travel so far to experience this off the grid paradise hotel.

I accepted the challenge and in a short time they were featured in Travel + Leisure, Yoga Journal, and Conde Nast Traveler magazines plus were gaining in popularity on social media as the new must-visit hotel for yoga retreats in the Caribbean. You can read their testimony of my performance here.

Since then, I’ve specialized in helping boutique hotel owners turn their properties into popular spots for yoga and wellness retreat groups.

Clients include island hotels in the Caribbean, beach bungalows in the United States, hidden retreats in the lush jungles of Costa Rica, and more.

I also represent a leading international yoga retreat company allowing me to understand the hotel perspective as well as the yoga retreat perspective.

I’ve won Best Marketing & Advertising agency awards and am a leading expert in wellness tourism strategy providing guidance for new wellness hotel developments and start ups.

I co-created Coconut Creative Agency with Jeremy Grubb who currently sells for a popular beach destination in Florida.

Coconut is a boutique marketing house specializing in organic social media strategies that help boutique hotels add $300k, $500k and $1M in new revenue with yoga and other wellness retreat bookings.
